So on Friday night we stayed over with my mummy's mummy and daddy and what an exciting time I had. my Auntie Vanessa was also there with her little boy and girl. We had lots of fun chasing each other round the garden - they're a bit closer to my size than mummy is so they were easy to catch. The garden was very big, with lots of bushes to hide in. I did have a scary moment when I was digging a hole behind one of the bushes and I couldn't find my way out again. Thankfully mummy had got my squeaky toy and squeaked it so that I could find her. I was very pleased to see her, but she didn't seem too happy about my muddy paws and snout.
On Satuday we had even more excitement when we went to see mummy's grandad. He was very old but he made lots of fuss of me and said that I was just like Angus. I wasn't sure who Angus was but apparently it's another dog that he used to have lots of years ago. It was nice to be made a fuss of. I liked his garden too but I wasn't allowed off my lead because there's no fence and his next-door neighbour has lots and lots of cats. As if I would ever chase them ;-)
I was so tired when we finally got home that I had a nice little sleep in my box. I think mummy was tired too because she disappeared for a bit and when she came back she said she'd been for a lie down. What an exhausting day for us both!
