So, what's been happening since I last updated you with my adventures?
Firstly, I'm very pleased to say that I fully recovered from my rather traumatic operation. I spent a few days recuperating with granma and grandad, then returned home fighting fit and ready to get back into my regular routine.
Then a few weeks later it was my first birthday. Mum said this was really exciting as it meant I was becoming a grown up dog, but I still feel like a pup. I got lots of exciting presents for my birthday, including a lovely teddy bear from granma and lots of toys and treats from my mum. She even made me some birthday cakes, which I was allowed to try, even though dogs aren't supposed to eat cakes. I have to say I have rather developed a taste for them :-)
And since then I've been very busy taking mum on lots of walks. It seems to be much lighter outside these days, which is great as it means more timefor walkies. We have discovered some new walks out in the countryside, where there are pheasants and deer to chase, which keeps me very happy but makes mum despair that I'm going to disappear down a rabbit hole or something. She does get stressed out so easily.
So, to celebrate the springtime I thought I'd share some photos of me frolicking in the daffodils. Enjoy and I'll try not to leave it so long before I write some more.
Lots of love,
Daisy Dog.
